Sustainable development

Entrusted with public service duties, ERDF is naturally concerned by environmental and social challenges. ERDF strives to develop and operate the network with respect for the environment, and contributes as well to a variety of social development projects. Furthermore, the company maintains a sustainable development policy that applies to all of its stakeholders, including employees, customers, local communities, public authorities, and associations.

Environmental commitments

To meet the challenges associated with global warming, ERDF has established 2 levers of action: managing electricity demand and developing renewable energies. To achieve this, ERDF works on innovations that can increase network energy efficiency and help customers manage their electricity consumption. It also aids the development of renewable energies by facilitating their connection to the network. To reduce the impact of its own activities on the environment, ERDF has adopted a continuous improvement approach that adheres to ISO standard 14001.
